New York is where I spend most of my time. For someone who loves an ever-changing environment, the Big Apple is the place to be!

Bike New York's mission is to promote and encourage bicycling and bicycle safety. It is best known for producing America's largest cycling event, a 42-mile, traffic-free ride for some 30,000 cyclists known as the Five Boro Bike Tour.

Manhattan Dinner Cruise during the summer of 2009. The cruise offers spectacular views of New York's breathtaking skylines, passing by the Brooklyn Bridge, lower Manhattan, Statue of Liberty and the Hudson River.

To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the exploration of the Hudson River by Henry Hudson, the Macy's July 4th Fireworks moved across to the Hudson River instead of the East River in 2009.

This New Jersey Balloon Festival is held annually at the Warren County Farmers' Fair. If you have never experienced the thrill of watching a bevy of colorful hot air balloons majestically rise from green pasture to blue sky, you can't imagine what you're missing!

The New York International Auto Show is an annual auto show held in New York City in late March or early April. It is usually held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. It usually opens on or just before Easter weekend and closes on the first Sunday after Easter.

The world famous Coney Island, with its Nathan's Famous original hot dog stand (opened in 1916), amusement park and the Wonder Wheel (built in 1918), boardwalk, nearby beach and fishing pier. It has also been featured in numerous films and shows from Seinfeld to Ugly Betty to the movie Cloverfield.

The Wildlife Conservation Society's (WCS) Run for the Wild is a 5K Run and Family Fun Run/Walk held at the Bronx Zoo in support of WCS work to save endangered animals. The goal for the 2009 fundraising event was to save Gorillas.

Every year, Concert in the Park offers performances at the Great Lawn in Central Park. This is an opportunity for anyone to gather with friends and enjoy drinks, snacks and conversation with the New York Philharmonic providing a soundtrack.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world. Today, they have built over 350,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1.75 million people with safe, decent, affordable shelter!

This was a Wedding Photo Shoot for my good friends Sherman & Julia. The settings were primarily around the Meat Packing District (hence the graffitis), Riverside Park, Grant's Tomb, Upper West Side, and at the wedding reception.

Misc Walk About Pix is a mixture of random photos taken around the Manhattan area: Brooklyn Bridge, Cherry Blossom in Central Park, and an old abandoned train station near Exchange Place, New Jersey.

The Toronto Raptors took on the New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden, and beat them 102-95. With this loss on April 4th, 2009, the Knicks were offically eliminated from playoff contention, yet again. Sighhhh...

The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the New York Rangers for a 2-1 victory at the Madison Square Garden on Jan 31st, 2007. Brendan Shanahan netted one for New York, while Mats Sundin had a goal and an assist in the win.

The Urban Assembly is a non-profit organization that creates and manages a community of New York City Public Schools dedicated to preparing students from under-resourced neighborhoods for success in four-year colleges. This was an UA event held at Central Park.
